About WSM
Wadan Steel Mill (WSM) is one of the largest and most advanced steel factories in Afghanistan. Proudly 100% Afghan-owned and operated, WSM was established on new Bagram Road in the 4th Phase, Industerial Park, Herat, Afghanistan Our state-of-the-art steel smelting factory began production in 2022 and was formally inaugurated in 2018. With our second phase of expansion, which started in 2023, WSM has achieved a production capacity of 1000 tons across two working shifts.
